Reduced Sentence for Appeal

Tough and tenacious, Ms. Helms noted an appeal for a client and in Circuit Court the client received a reduced sentence for charges of driving on a suspended operator's license when a certified ignition interlock was required, VA Code § 18.2-272. Violating court order when convicted of a DUI/DWI can result in fines, incarceration and an extended period of operator license suspended. The result in this case was a win!
